2018 Platte River Revival

On September 23rd community volunteers converged on Casper's North Platte Park to remove invasive Russian olive trees from along the North Platte River. Now in the eleventh year, the Platte River Revival continues to be the largest National Public Lands Day event in the Country.

This year's event saw similarly cold and wet weather as 2016. It was rainy, muddy, and cold but the folks of Casper didn't let that stop them from removing invasive Russian olives from critical sections of the river between Mike Lansing Field and the disc golf course.
